You are in a better situation!

Most of us always feel that we are in a bad situation. Somebody else is taking credit for the work we did. Our bosses do not recognize the kind of good work we have done. Somebody else has been promoted and we have been superseded by somebody who is junior to us. Most of us are chided by our spouses and family that others (including our friends) are doing better than us and that we are working hard enough. Many of us are met with accidents, downfalls and unexpected bad fortune. Then sometimes we make mistakes which we could have avoided.
We are down and out. We feel bad!
The good news is, you are not alone. Of all people around you and in fact around the world at least 99% people are in the same boat. They are rarely any people who are satisfied with themselves and their lives and that they believe they are leading a happy life.
Why it is so? Why after all the physical development and increase in quality of life, happiness in life is a very rare commodity?
The answer is lies in human psychology. Human beings always long for more and more. If you have a car, you will like to have 2 cars. If you have a personal fortune of $1 million, you will like to have $5 million. If you can not achieve it for some reason, you feel bad.
Anyways, life goes on. The best solution is that you should realize that not all you want can become true. There is destiny (kismet) which dictates what will happen with you despite your trying to escape from it. You can try your best but whatever is written in your kismet will happen. Nothing can stop it.
It can be true that you have been wronged. But most of us have been wronged. In fact, you should know that you are in a better position than many other people. These people have been wronged more than you. They had a bigger misfortune than yourself. So you should brace yourself that you are in a better position than the position these people are in and you should thank god for it.
