book review 3: “Software Project Management – A Process Driven Approach”

Howdy Ashfaque,

I had a chance to read your book “Software Project Management – A Process Driven Approach” recently after a friend of mine recommended it. Even though some parts of your book were not of much interest to me but over all I liked it. The most interesting part of the book i found was the chapter on process selection techniques for various kinds of software projects. i fully agree with you that there is no cookie cutter for software project management which will enable software projects to be handled with just one way. It depends on nature of the project and the environment in which the project is executed. Size also matters immensely. Indeed the chapter was thought provoking! That chapter alone was worth spending money in buying the book.
